Troopmaster Mobile
In an effort to assist scout families with tracking and planning scouting progress, we are granting access to our Troopmaster data via the free app “TroopmasterMobile”. We hope you will find it easy to use, and we respectfully request your patience as we bring more than 100 families on board. This should significantly reduce wait time and the need for scouts and parents to request reports from the office, but we are certainly here to help, so let us know when you need it. You should soon receive an email with a User ID and Password which will provide read-only mobile access to your son’s scout record.
We do have some of the features turned OFF for the time being. As we get everyone logged in and acclimated, we will start to use more of the available features. There is a desktop version offering remote access to the same data for your scout, but for now, Troop 1011 will focus our efforts on mobile access. Later this year, we will work with everyone to fold in more functionality.
Please remember a few things as you begin to view your son’s information:
Please direct all questions, comments and suggestions to: troop1011records@gmail.com and we will help you as quickly as we can.

Please remember a few things as you begin to view your son’s information:
- For the next few months, there are 2 different Advancement buttons on the mobile app – please see the FAQ page to understand which one you should use.
- Our volunteers try to enter campout info, activities, service hours, merit badge and rank progress as soon as we can. If a scout or adult leader drops things in the basket late on a Monday night, it may not be entered until another time. Each of the troop’s leaders/volunteers has a busy family and works full time outside of scouting, so please be patient as we work to manage advancement, data and projects for such a large troop.
- We can only enter data for events we know about. If we do not receive attendance/requirement rosters from events, they cannot be entered. If you/your scout are responsible for an event such as an Eagle Project, Court of Honor, volunteer day, etc., be sure a roster is maintained and turned in to the basket or emailed to troop1011records@gmail.com . We do not enter data based on the calendar, posted photos or general thank-you emails – we have to have a roster.
- Please do not turn in your son’s service hours, camping nights, etc. for events which are sponsored by our troop (flag/wreath placement, clothing sale, scouting for food, etc.). Those will be turned in on a single list by the appointed leader. If there is a separate event for your son, such as attending camp with another troop, NYLT, service hours for a school, church or other organization, those should be turned in and will be included in an activity such as 3Q2016 Non-Troop Service (where the title represents the 3rd quarter of 2016). For outside service, we do not give each event a name, but we will keep a running total for your scout. There is a service hour input page on our website, or you may drop off a paper form from the sponsoring agency.
